Bravo Has A New Reality Matchmaker Show Called ‘Project Soulmate’ To Compete With Its ‘Millionaire Matchmaker’
Bravo’s ‘Millionaire Matchmaker’ has been receiving some hits after the host Patty Stanger bashed gays, jewish men and New Yorker women. Since then their numbers have dropped and everyone has had something to say about the bigmouth know it all Stanger. The show has already received some competition from shows such as VH1′s Tough Love & Why Am I Still Single. Well now Bravo is going to be airing yet another reality matchmaker show titled ‘Project Soulmate’. Project Soulmate is set to air sometime in or around January 2012.
Millionaire Matchmaker: Patti Stanger Pure Genius or Complete Idiot?
Bravo’s press release, March 2011 describe the show as follows… “Some say it’s impossible to find your soulmate in a place like New York City – but they haven’t met Lori Zaslow, New York’s most devoted matchmaker. NYC is cut-throat and so is Zaslow. She tells it like it is as she hits the sleepless streets of Manhattan searching tirelessly for love for her clients. Happily married for 10 years to her business partner and fashion-guru husband, Bryan Zaslow, this Manhattan cupid knows what it takes to find true love and keep it sizzling, even while juggling the demands of motherhood.”
Unlike the rest of the host of these reality matchmaker shows Lori Zaslow is said to be happily married for 10 years. Her husband works with on the show and helps her to juggle both their personal and professional lives. They have two small children who are four and six years old that require much attention and love. Lori is said to befriend her clients, really getting to know them and taking a deep and personal look into their lives to be able to assist them in their search for love. Lori’s husband of 10 years spoke with The Huffington Post see what he had to say below.
“When I watch Patti, I feel like I am watching a woman who can’t control her mouth and also a woman who puts people together who are completely wrong for each other. I have never actually seen anyone get together again on the show.” He went on to add, “She gets three girls to stand there and makes sure they dress slutty. No wonder no one gets married. Yeah, she’s f***ing funny, but you need more than that.”
