Lamar Odom Traded To Dallas & Khloe Kardashian Is Not Happy About It

Lamar Odom Traded To Dallas & Khloe Kardashian Is Not Happy About It. For a moment the El reality start and husband did not know what his future was going to be like due to the tradeoffs being left up in the air. At first the couple was believed to be moving to New Orleans to joining the Hornets team, but that deal was canceled when the league’s commissioner David Stern said no.
During the Friday Lakers camp, Odom left early due to things being a bit weird since his team was trying to get rid of him. He explained, “To me, I would think it’s better to stay away. You know, the energy and all. I don’t know how it’s going to go right now. It’s a little weird . Right now, I’ll be a fan of the game from a distance.”
The next couple of days it was rumored that Dallas had picked up the NBA player but nothing was confirmed by the league. The source did tell the Los Angeles Times, “It’s a done deal” about the trade and that Odom will be leaving to Dallas very soon.
Khloe expressed via Twitter, “we are all sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative.” She later then tweeted, “I am blessed and happy anywhere as long as I am with my family!” Khloe seems to have changed her initial sadness with excitement about moving on to the next chapter in her life. Her husband is said to already be at the Dallas Mavericks training camp and Khloe is said to be “missing him already.” She later tweeted, “as soon as I pack our house up ill be there.” Rob Kardashian will also be joining in the move and will be making his way to Dallas to begin business ventures and live his life in the Lone Star state.
Odom has spoke with press about his trade and expressed to Dan Patrick, “It’s a good thing, it’s a good thing. I’m looking forward to it.” Odom knew that him being on the Lakers team was just not the place for him any longer, he told press, “That’s when I figured out that it could happen at any given time, they were gonna trade me this year no matter what. They were trying to make the best business move for themselves, which wasn’t in my best interest, so I had to take control of the situation and land in a place…like Dallas, like Mark Cuban, and a team like the Mavericks, it was my first choice.”
Competing against his old team will be awkward at first, but Odom states, “It’ll be weird, man…I gotta go out there and have a job to do.” Plus, Odom jokes that going up against his soon to be ex-brother-in-law, Kris Humphries “might be a little more awkward than going to L.A.”
It’s been a great year in the Country music world. It’s been better for some; such as Taylor Swift Graces The Cover of Billboard December 2011 Issue.
