Kimberly Stewart shows off her Baby Daughter Delilah
Rod Stewart‘s daughter Kimberly Stewart has shown off her baby Delilah for the first time, and revealed the tot is taking after her Hollywood star father Benicio Del Toro. Despite no longer being romantically involved with each other, the socialite insists the 44 year old actor is very hands-on with their two-month-old daughter.
Showing off their child for the first time, Kimberly Stewart, 32, reveals Benecio was in the delivery room when baby Delilah was born on August 21. The actor and the former model’s mother Alana Stewart were by Kimberly’s side when she gave birth to Delilah Genoveva Stewart Del Toro in Los Angeles.
“The whole family, including Benicio, was at the hospital and my mom and Benicio were in the delivery room with me. Benicio’s very involved; he and Delilah have a very special bond. She definitely looks like her dad, but she has my legs and eye color.“-Kimberly Stewart told Hello! magazine. Kimberly and Benicio, who won an Oscar for his role in the movie Traffic, released a statement in April announcing that they are expecting a child together.
Although Kimberly Stewart and Benicio Del Toro are not together, the actor and his baby daughter Delilah have a special bond.
Matt Damon to Direct, Produce and Star in a New Movie

Hollywood star Matt Damon is ready to make his directorial debut with a new drama he co-wrote with The Office star John Krasinski. The actor is going to direct the untitled movie, which is reported to be about a salesman whose life changes when he arrives at a small town. The movie, where Matt Damon is taking the role of producer as well, said to be in the same vein as Erin Brockovich, which earned Julia Roberts a Best Actress Oscar in 2000. The movie is still in early stages and no deals have been signed, according to The Wrap.
Last year, the actor was attached to direct “Father Daughter Time: A Tale of Armed Robbery and Eskimo Kisses”, a crime drama written by Matthew Aldrich. That movie is being made through his production company with Ben Affleck, Pearl Street, while this new film with Krasinski will be made under Krasinski’s banner. Matt Damon has certainly worked with enough good directors to pick up a few helpful tips.
He is one of Steven Soderbergh‘s go-to stars, and has worked with Martin Scorsese, Clint Eastwood, the Coen Brothers, Gus Van Sant and Doug Liman, amongst others. Damon, 41, has recently starred in Soderbergh’s thriller Contagion and The Adjustment Bureau, which co-starred Krasinski’s wife Emily Blunt.

Patrick Swayze’s widow recreates Dirty Dancing pose with Waxwork

Lisa Niemi the wife of late actor Patrick Swayze, recreated one of his best remembered scenes in Dirty Dancing, when she unveiled his wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood today (19.10.11). She recreated the scene where Johnny [played by Patrick Swayze] teaches Baby how to dance,posing balanced on the log in front of the waxwork.”It became clear to me that someone had put a lot of love into this,for a man I loved so very much.“-Lisa said about Swayze’s “Dirty Dancing” statue.
The waxwork comes two years after the star died of pancreatic cancer at just 57-years-old. Lisa was able to view photos of every step in the wax figure process. And she said the finished work is striking an appropriate pose for her late husband Patrick Swayze. The 55-year-old widow also revealed she believed they had perfectly captured she loves the look in the figure’s eyes. She said:(He is saying) come and be fearless with me. Go out there on a limb.Just trust. Don’t look down.Take a chance in whatever you do.”
This statue of late Patrick Swayze capturing his iconic role in Dirty Dancing,is not the first waxwork of the famous actor, as one was also made for the movie Ghost.

Taylor Lautner Promotes “Abduction” Film On “The Today Show”
Continuing on with his promotional duties Taylor Lautner Promotes “Abduction” Film On “The Today Show.” He was spotted arriving at the NBC studios in New York City yesterday all smiles and looks to be enjoying himself. The film is set to be released in theaters this Friday September 23rd. Lautner sat down with Ann Curry to talk about the film. She asked him if he enjoyed all the action scenes that are in the movie. He replied, “Absolutely. It was one of my favorite parts. It was great. I had the opportunity to do most of my own stunts and it was a lot of fun making this movie.”
A 19 year old being able to do some of his own stunts is very impressive. He was asked by the host what was one of the crazy stunts that he was involved in, Lautner states, “We filmed a great scene in the PNC Park in Pittsburgh, the baseball stadium and I got to do some core moves and slide down that huge glass awning to the escalators. That was a lot of fun and this was probably my favorite stunt.” The scene he described is the scene that most have seen during the previews of this movie. It looks fun but dangerous at the same time. It figures that would be his favorite stunt scene.
During the last year or so, Lautner, has only spent 5 weeks at home. He is a young man with a blooming career, but he is still just a teen. He was asked by the host if this year has been enjoyable or simply an burden being away from home so long.
He replied, “It is. I mean, this was a childhood dream of mine too, you know, in front of the cameras but behind them as well. I mean, I love it. It’s so much fun, and I never thought I would be sitting here today. I’m extremely honored and blessed and I still have to pinch myself and tell myself it’s real, because it feels like a dream.”
Hopefully when all the promotional duties are done with he can actually go back home and relax for some time. It must have been a pain to be living out of a suitcase and spending several nights out of the week in different cities and hotels. Spending time like that has to be draining and the person has to be homesick.
Taylor Lautner seems to have a promising career and will continue to make amazing films and truly develop his acting career. This is definitely not the end of the ex Twilight heartthrob star.

Eddie Murphy To Host 84th Academy Awards
This may come as a shocker to many, but Eddie Murphy will Host 84th Academy Awards. It has just been confirmed as well by the producers of the show Brett Ratner and Don Mischer this past Tuesday, September 6. This will be Eddie Murphy’s first time ever hosting the Academy Awards. Not sure if he would make a good host. The only thing I can honestly remember about Eddie Murphy is him filming “RAW” and being a dead beat father who didn’t want to pay child support for his kids but instead went out and bought himself a brand new expensive car. Anywho, not sure what in the hell the producers were thinking with this choice.
Ratner said of his choice of host, “Eddie is a comedic genius, one of the greatest and most influential live performers ever. With his love of movies, history of crafting unforgettable characters and his iconic performances, especially on stage, I know he will bring excitement, spontaneity and tremendous heart to the show Don and I want to produce in February.”
Mischer also added his thoughts about having Murphy as a host, “Eddie is a truly ground-breaking performer, whose amazingly diverse array of roles has won him a devoted audience of all ages. His quick wit and charisma will serve him very well as Oscar host.”
Murphy seemed very excited about being chosen to host the show and he told press, “I am enormously honored to join the great list of past Academy Award hosts from Hope and Carson to Crystal, Martin and Goldberg, among others. I’m looking forward to working with Brett and Don on creating a show that is enjoyable for both the fans at home and for the audience at the Kodak Theatre as we all come together to celebrate and recognize the great film contributions and collaborations from the past year.”
The 84th Academy Awards show will air live from Los Angeles on February 26, 2012. Now we all have to sit back and wait to see if he will do a good job or not.
